This work was inspired by blues music. Painting has the unusual characteristic that it needs silence, that it is essentially silence. It is peace of mind. Seeing is the same grace as hearing. I got the impression that sometimes paintings are not silent. The richness of sound can be felt when looking at the works of great masters.eg Jacek Malczewski. It's a beautiful combination, between silence and loudness. This painting is an attempt to leave my personal musical code in painting.
