Marzena Laura Mazurek - a graduate of the Faculty of Arts at Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin.
For 22 years she has been professionally engaged in painting, participant and organizer of many individual and collective exhibitions, workshops, international plein-air painting workshops. She has received numerous awards and distinctions both for cultural activities and individual creative work ( awards in reviews of painting).
A characteristic feature of her painting is bold colors, intense structures and textures. This work is filled with deep symbolism, hidden in winged forms depicting the longing for freedom, the beauty of nature, life on the border between heaven and earth, etc. Other symbolism in her paintings include poppies - the heart, boat - the way of life, etc. It can be said, however, that wings are such a unifying motif in the painter's work. Wings are a symbol of artists, a symbol of freedom, imagination, crossing boundaries and realization of dreams ( wings of birds, butterflies, dragonflies, angels, etc.).
