Natalia Pastushenko graduated from the architecture department of the Ukrainian Academy of Fine Arts in Kyiv. Graduated as an artist-architect in 1996 under the direction of Professor Igor Shpara. She works in printmaking, painting, book illustration and interior design.
She conducts art classes with children.
In 2007 she was a scholarship holder of the "Gaude Polonia" program of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Poland - work on a series of illustrations to Ukrainian fairy tales took place at the "Borderland - Arts, Cultures, Nations" foundation from Sejny.
In 2010, as an illustrator, she cooperated with the magazine "Zwierciadło" (illustrations to the film novel "Utilized by Love" by Maciej Stuhr). Currently, she is an illustrator for the Ukrainian magazine "SZO".
Natalia Pastushenko is also the author of illustrations for 18 children's books.
Participation in numerous exhibitions in Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Italy, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
In his works, he most often uses mixed techniques: acrylic, ink, colored and transparent varnishes, which provides opportunities to combine graphic and painting techniques.
