acrylic, canvas, 90 x 90 cm, described on the back: 'Oliwia Mizera Szymanska | artist's monogram "Sanctuary" | 2026.
Painter, a historian by training. Her work focuses on painting inspired by pop art aesthetics, creating colorful compositions based on space motifs. Her works are contemplative in nature, an attempt to stop the viewer for a moment and direct attention to the simple experience of color, stillness and breath. The artist reflects on the pace of modern life, in which it is increasingly difficult to have a moment of tranquility and contact with intense, vivid colors. Through her paintings, she builds spaces conducive to stopping and regeneration, restoring the importance of the present moment. She has participated in numerous charity auctions organized by the Open Door Association for the Disabled, engaging in social action through art. Her works are in a museum dedicated to the memory of Violetta Villas in Lewin Klodzki, as well as in private collections in Poland, Ireland and Germany. She lives and works in Poland, developing her own recognizable painting language based on color and mood.
