Renata Masłyk - visual artist, painter, creator of original painting objects. Her path to art was not obvious or linear - for many years she functioned in the world of management, projects and communication. The experience of managerial work and analytical education influenced her work, visible today in the discipline of form, consistency in the construction of cycles and conscious operation of the matter and structure of the image. She is a graduate of the Rzeszow University of Technology (computer science) and the University of Rzeszow, where she received a Master of Arts degree in painting and drawing. Her painting diploma, completed under the supervision of Professor Tadeusz Boruta, was awarded, which confirmed her artistic maturity and expressive creative language.
Her works have been presented at solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad, in BWA galleries, at competition exhibitions and international events. She is a member of the Union of Polish Artists (ZPAP) and actively participates in artistic life, cooperating with the r_zGallery in Rzeszow, among others .
He is also president of the LuminarteFoundation , which works for contemporary art, art education and support for artists.
Painting language and areas of creativity
Renata Masłyk's work revolves around issues of matter, memory and transience. The artist works on raw, often unusual substrates - jute bags, old fabrics and materials bearing traces of previous existence. She treats them as a full-fledged element of the painting's narrative, building a dialogue with history, wear and tear and time.
Her painting oscillates between abstraction and the physicality of matter, operating with black, white and texture, broken by controlled touches of color - especially blue and gold. The balance between severity and delicacy, silence and emotional intensity is characteristic of her work.

Renata Masłyk is developing several recognizable series in parallel:
Color Box - intimate, compact painting compositions built as almost object-like forms. These are works with concentrated energy of color and structure, enclosed in a precisely defined space.
Golden Box - a series using gold as a symbolic and formal element. Gold does not have a decorative function, but becomes a carrier of the sacred, memory and inner light of the image.
In parallel, the artist creates figurative paintings in small formats of the American Box type, which she designs and produces herself. These modern, painted objects combine painting with spatial form, being an authorial combination of classical technique and contemporary design aesthetics.
In addition to painting, she also develops abstract compositions and minimalist prints and drawings, treating them as an equal field of artistic expression.
Renata Masłyk's work is a consistently developed, thoughtful narrative. Each work functions as an autonomous object, but at the same time is part of a larger, coherent artistic project. Her work is characterized by intensity, regularity and a clear presence in the contemporary art market.
