Studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow at the Faculty of Painting under Prof.Czeslaw Rzepinski. He obtained his diploma in 1972, for which he received an award from the Minister of Culture and Art. Participant of many exhibitions at home and abroad. Winner of many awards and prizes. " Ryszard Dudek is a supporter of aesthetics and normative art and painting based on such pdas. Painting in which the "beginning and end" is color. This is a modern idea of versatility and the primacy of "color" identical to the "color" of Monet and Cezanne, Pankiewicz, Cybis and Rzepinski. Having possessed such awareness, the painter already exploits only the pure sources of painting existing beyond the reach of fashions and non-artistic commitments, regardless of the era and circumstances."
