"The painting I feel best epitomizes is "Forget Me Not." I painted this artwork with the mindset that women are not considered equal to men in their everyday abilities out in a world of men. A woman has to fight to prove herself in most everything she does while competing against men. A moment of hope is seen when women do rise victorious though. Time and again women everywhere have shown they are equal and often better than men in many areas of life. Work, raising children, games, strength, intelligence and many more abilities have time after time proven that women come out victorious. So "Forget Me Not" is an homage to women everywhere who display these amazing abilities and ask that they be heard above the noise of a perceived men's kingdom."
