Biography:
Sylwia Ciuchcińska (b.26.11.1984)
Artist working mainly in acrylic technique on canvas. In her work she combines elements of schlage and structure. She builds contrast by layering paint to create a luminous effect-without using metallic pigments.
She made her debut in 2025. Her painting develops in the form of thematic series. The first, "Emotions," includes 12 portraits dealing with various emotional states. The second entitled "Zodiac Signs in Nature " is the author's interpretation of astrology inspired by nature motifs. The artist is also working on a third project - a series entitled "Born of the stars ", in which she focuses on showing the figure emerging from light and matter.
Her works have been presented, among others, at the Regional Kurpie Culture Center in Myszyniec and at the Public Library in Warsaw, where the series "Emotions " and "Signs of the Zodiac in Nature " were shown.
Finalist in the Debuts II competition at the Maya Gallery in Toruń.
She participated in the 78th and 79th Discover New Artist Auction
She focuses on the exploration of inner human worlds, symbolism and luminous, cosmic structures. Her paintings combine intuitiveness, emotion and narrative, creating a distinctive visual language.
