Born on September 26, 1950 in Uniejów.
Studied at the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Lodz, where in 1974 he
obtained a diploma in painting under Prof. Zdzislaw Glowacki, with an appendix in decorative fabric design under Associate Professor Aniela Boguslawska and in clothing fabric design under Associate Professor Boleslaw Tomaszkiewicz.
"My painting stems from personal inner experiences, from the delight of meeting some place at a particular time of year, time of day, lighting. The need to retain this experience of varying emotional strength determines the form of paintings."
He has been a member of ZPAP since 1981 He has participated in many individual and group exhibitions and plein-air events.
