Landscape artist associated with Puławy and Kazimierz Dolny. An excellent restorer of Vistula views and architecture of Kazimierz, Janowiec and Puławy. As a painter he drew on the traditions of the Impressionists and Post-Impressionists: he processed them and combined them with elements of lyrical realism. His painting is characterized by richness of color, spontaneity of action, vitality, and is full of joie de vivre.
