Lucjan LEJMAN (1891-1973), - "Still Life."

Dimensions: frame 66 x 52 cm; painting clear of frame 46 x 32 cm
Technique: oil? on panel
Painting in a wooden frame with canvas passe-partout depicting typical still life elements: a ceramic teapot on a saucer) and a fruit (apple or peach). The thick brushstrokes create an almost impressionistic view, while the colorful, blurred background isolates the objects from their context.
