Studied at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts (2003 diploma with distinction in Prof. Wieslaw Szamborski's studio). Since 2005 she has been working as an assistant at her alma mater. Eroticism, intimacy on the border of physiology - in the works of Agnieszka Sandomierz are not taboo. "With her exhibitions to date, Agnieszka Sandomierz has earned a reputation as a somewhat controversial artist. Or rather, scandalizing. The main theme of her paintings is the female body. She herself agreed with the opinion that when painting she balances on the verge of mental exhibitionism. "When painting I deal with my own corporeality. I want to look at myself. Looking at a painting is not like looking in a mirror. A painting is a synthesis." Her paintings are frames in which she shows the female body, or rather herself in intimate scenes. And it was precisely the eroticism with which her previous works were imbued that made their reception evoke a strong reaction from viewers. The directness with which Agnieszka Sandomierz approaches her own carnality and that of the men who accompany her caused the viewer to become a voyeur who could peek into the artist's intimate world."
