Painter and graphic artist, after the 2nd war associated with the Silesian artistic environment. From 1922-1928 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under Wladyslaw Jarocki and Ignacy Pienkowski. He is the author of numerous portraits, landscapes, views of architecture, since the 1950s he also painted paintings of sacred subjects. From 1945 he lived in Gliwice, where he worked as a conservator at the Gliwice museum.
