A collection of 10-inch 78-rpm shellac records dating from the early 20th century, primarily produced and distributed in Italy. The lot includes a binder and several original paper sleeves from the record labels. Among the legible labels are Columbia Records, housed in a burgundy album with a grain-patterned binding and gold lettering; Pathé, with light blue sleeves bearing the rooster logo and the Milan address Portici Settentrionali 21; Parlophon, with a record featuring a blue label (catalog number P. 88-6-I) housed in an Odeon sleeve; and La Voce del Padrone (His Master’s Voice), identifiable by the “Disco Concerto Grammofono” logo featuring the dog Nipper. The repertoire includes operatic music, with a recording of Boito’s *Mefistofele* (number 7-52111), and popular music, as indicated by the handwritten note “Canzoni Napoletane” on one of the sleeves. Another label bears the composer’s name, Lehar. An additional sleeve bears the inscription “La Voce del Padrone—The High-Class Brand.”
