Test mark at 12 o'clock on the scroll and leaf edge at 10 o'clock. Only minimal adjustment marks and minor circulation wear on the high relief. Superb.
The Charles d'Or of Duke Charles IV copies the species of Louis XIV. Prescribed in 1663, it is titled at 21 carats 7/8e and 36 1/4 pièces au marc (6.75 g theoretical).
