Minted by Decymius Junius Brutus Albinus, a relative of Marcus Junius Brutus' second cousin. He was one of the main conspirators against Caesar, participating in the attack of the Ides of March in 44 BC. Previously close to Caesar, some researchers speculate that he may have been his son. He died in 43 BC. after the defeat at Mutina in Galla, at the hands of Mark Antony's allies.
