Individual layer as a vision - an image appearing in the artist's imagination. Seemingly different, but combined / superimposed on each other, they create matter - a finished work. Painting and carpentry works by Mikula are color-saturated juxtapositions of shapes and layers, inspired by the world around him - from nature to everyday life.
