Matthew Lewandowski, Cichosza

Acrylic on canvas, 40x30 cm

An enchanting dance of whimsy and chaos awaits in this vibrant fabric of scribbled delight. The artist juxtaposes a playfully electric pink with a soft purple background, creating a dynamic contrast that draws the viewer's eye. Reminiscent of a dreamer's spontaneous journal entries, this work weaves together an intricate tale of symbols and abstract forms. Each look reveals new discoveries - subtle references to the frenetic energy of urban life are intertwined with elements of fantasy. Permeated by the spirit of street art and pop culture, it pulses with youthful joy, inviting both reverie and smiles. Here, amidst a teeming sea of symbols, lies an artistic treasure trove of unfettered imagination.

Mateusz Lewandowski
Before he started painting he created analog photography and sculpted. He is currently a single dad of a cat, and in his free time he rides his bike or paints. In his paintings he combines the aesthetics of urban space with pop'art and Pollock. He is inspired by everything from the scribbles he encounters every day on switchboxes to psychedelic pictograms. He uses spray or marker more often than a paintbrush.
