The stamped forgeries were banknotes seized by the Germans from airdrops near Piotrków Trybunalski. They served as banknote specimens for banks in the General Government.

Interestingly, on the reverse with no additional markings that it is a forgery, which, combined with the sticking mark, allows us to assume that it was a presentation piece - mounted on a card or in a dedicated notebook for use by cash registers or other financial institutions.
