In 1973-78, he studied at the A. Kenar State High School in Zakopane at the Department of Sculpture.
Here he had the opportunity to come into contact with prominent artists who worked and lived in Zakopane at the time: Tadeusz Brzozowski, Antoni Rząsa, Władysław Hasior, Arkadiusz Waloch. In 1979-84 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in the Studio of Lithography of W. Kunz and in the Drawing Studio of J. Gaia.
He received his diploma in 1984. In 1985 he was in Romania, where he made frescoes in a group. The culture and art of this country had a significant influence on the further course of his creative work. The art of the 1980s was dominated by large formats, a retrospective exhibition of Wols, (who is characterized by small formats) in Zurich in 1989 had a decisive influence on further explorations within drawing and painting.
Beginning in 1986, he took up sculpture. Making several sacred works in Poland and the USA, he participated in the exhibition Graphics from the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts (1986) and exhibited at the Wahl Sisters Gallery (Warsaw, 1984) r., Monsserat Gallery (New York. 1992). Since 1992, he has consistently failed to participate in artistic life. From 1992 to 2002, he has traveled extensively throughout Europe, the United States and Mexico. Contact with South American art through the Museo Nacional de Antropología in Mexico City, had a very significant impact on further interests especially in sculpture.
Since 1998, he has been doing a lot of illustrations for texts, projects, in his favorite place in the Apuan Alps in Tuscany.
