In the center of the hinged lid a small opening covered with a rotating knob for the original, carved wooden whisk. Fully hallmarked Paris 1735, fermier Hubert Louver (Ref. L. Carré page 33) and re-examined in Chartres in 1819-1838 (Ref. L. Carré pages 200-201).
Diameter 10 cm, height 21.5 cm, width with handle 23 cm. Total weight 895 g (840+55).
