Wladyslaw Mikos was born in the countryside on the border of Malopolska and Mazovia, from childhood he manifested an exceptional talent for drawing, so that his fate was tied to art. An exceptionally talented young man, he graduated from high school in Kharkov [!], then attended Wojciech Gerson's painting school in Warsaw, then left for further studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, where he studied under Leon Wyczółkowski, Jacek Malczewski and Teodor Axentowicz. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in 1914 with a silver medal, in the same year he became a real member of the Warsaw Zachęta, where he exhibited for a number of years, winning numerous awards, prizes and laudatory reviews, participated in numerous exhibitions in the country, associated with Radom and the Radom area, he perpetuated the history of the romantic, dying village, now gone forever.
