Carl Gustaf Hallberg (1824-1888) founded the jewelry and goldsmith company in 1860, which quickly became a major marketing success. By the end of the 19th century, it was considered one of Sweden's finest manufactures, known for its high quality products. In 1889 it was awarded the title of court supplier. In 1896 it moved to a modern factory that offered a wide range of products - from luxury jewelry to body silver to silver-plated and base metal products.
