GRZEGORZ FRYDRYK, born in 1976 in Rzeszow. Graduate of the State High School of Fine Arts in Rzeszow. From 1997 to 2002 studied at the Institute of Fine Arts, University of Rzeszow. Diploma in 2002 in the Painting Studio of Prof. Irena Popiołek-Rodzińska and in the Graphic Arts Studio of Prof. Andrzej Pietsch. Since 2006, assistant in the Department of Printmaking at the Faculty of Art, University of Rzeszow, in the Studio of Intaglio Printing of Prof. Włodzimierz Kotkowski, and then in the Studio of Convex Printing of Prof. Krzysztof Skórczewski. In 2012, he received his PhD from the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. Currently an assistant professor in the Studio of Convex Printing in the Department of Graphic Arts at the Institute of Fine Arts, University of Rzeszow. He works in graphic design, drawing and painting. Author of graphic elaborations of books and poetry volumes. Member of the literary and artistic association "Fraza" and the Association of the International Triennial of Graphics in Krakow. Between 2014 and 2020, he organized the following individual exhibitions: the exhibition of graphics "Impulse" at the Solvay Center for Contemporary Art in Krakow - 2019, the exhibition of graphics and painting "On constant prayer" at the Diocesan Museum in Rzeszow - 2016, and the exhibition "Graphics and natural objects" at the Art Gallery of the Municipal Cultural Center in Debica - 2014.
In 2018, he received an Honorable Mention from the Institute of National Remembrance in the "Image, Graphics, Drawing, Sculpture of the Year" competition organized by BWA Rzeszow. In 2021, he received the second prize in the competition KOLAŻ - ASAMBLAŻ organized by BWA in Olkusz.
Participation in international group exhibitions, among others: Ruse (Bulgaria), Tetovo (Macedonia), Vilnius (Lithuania), Vancouver (Canada), Edmonton (Canada), Barcelona (Spain), Timisoara (Romania), Derby (UK), Rosario (Argentina), Syros (Greece) and in national exhibitions among others: Gliwice, Gdansk, Gdynia, Krakow, Gorlice, Ostrow Wielkopolski, Olkusz, Przemyśl, Cieszyn, Czestochowa, Lodz, Sanok, Jaroslaw, Rzeszow
