The 1905 volume (51 issues, issue 6 missing) of a Russian illustrated weekly on agriculture and economics, published in St. Petersburg from 1894 to 1905. The magazine was devoted to practical issues in agriculture and animal husbandry, agricultural technology, and economic and commercial matters. It also featured news from the life of the zemstvos, information on agricultural product prices, and advice for farmers. After *Хозяин* ceased publication in 1905, it was succeeded by the magazine *Нужды деревни* (*The Needs of the Village*), which was published from 1906 to 1911. Content in Russian.
